A very exciting well. This orphanage is situated to the east of Koudougou, not very far from a mains water supply, but there is very little chance of being connected to it for very many years. Fresh water for about 300 children every day.
2011 – a lovely service of dedication with a lot of singing and dancing. There is a school as well at the orphanage and I think the children enjoyed the day off. The children liked opening some of the bags from the container. They rarely have new clothing, jeans and football shirts were great favorites.
2013 – many new buildings. The orphanage is the same but the village has grown with many more housing clustered closer to the well. There was a constant stream of ladies on bikes or with donkey carts collecting water from the well.
