From the end of September 2016, in support of Myra’s Wells – a charity close to Cross Country’s heart, for every bottle of water sold on board we will donate 5p to the charity. The charity was set up by Train Manager, Eddie Martin in memory of his wife. The charity raises money to fund the construction of wells in Burkina Faso. Together with CrossCountry marketing, catering and HR teams they met with Eddie to discuss the concept and plan all the necessary promotional activity and marketing. They are aiming to launch the initiative in September which will run for 6 months, during which time they hope to raise the £5,000 needed to fund the drilling of a new well.
